Mission Statement: Tugra Books (formerly The Light Publishing) is dedicated to producing high-quality publications that contribute to the proliferation of peace and common understanding throughout the entire world.

COMPANY PROFILE
Based in New Jersey, Tugra Books publishes books on faith, Sufism, children’s books, and a quarterly magazine The Fountain. We aim to supply the market with quality publications to fulfill the need for a peaceful approach to religion and science as two aspects of the same reality complementing one another, as opposed to the argument that they are two conflicting phenomena totally unrelated.

At a time when people are voicing concerns more than any time in the past over horrifying claims that religions are the main causes for likely clashes between civilizations, readers feel the necessity to obtain more information about different faiths in general and Islam in particular, which is not very much known in the West. We confidently believe our publications are quality and reliable sources for providing such information.

Most of our titles are by the leading scholars and peace activists from Turkey: Bediuzzaman Said Nursi and M. Fethullah Gulen. Both authors have had great influence on young generations with their modern approach in interpreting the Qur’an and with their global activities in promoting education and seeking dialogue between members of different religions and cultures.
